About us
We help nature
We are ČSOP ONYX, the basic organization of the Czech Union of Nature Conservation, founded in 2007. Our passion is the protection of nature and landscapes, the care of rare places and species, and the spread of awareness about how to approach nature with respect and love.
We believe that each of us can contribute to keeping our landscape alive, diverse and healthy – for us and for the generations that come after us. That is why we are dedicated to practical nature conservation, ecological education and awareness.

OUR MISSION
Our mission is to protect natural and landscape values in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. We restore endangered habitats, care for rare species and support sustainable development. We involve the public in nature protection and share our experiences through educational programs, excursions and lectures.
OUR PROJECTS
During our existence, we have implemented and participated in a number of significant projects, some of which have been awarded at the European level.
Each of these projects is the result of collaboration between experts, volunteers and institutions, united by the same goal - to keep our nature alive and diverse.
OUR TEAM
We are ČSOP ONYX – a group of people who care about what our landscape will look like tomorrow.
We have been caring for rare places, saving endangered species and bringing life back to places where it almost disappeared since 2007. Our weapons are experience, commitment and love for nature – and we believe that everyone can be its protector.
